[Qwitter-discuss] Questions about the future of Twitter and Qwitter

For more information, consult the following pages (links may span two
lines):
I'm not going to regurgitate the information on those pages, however the
rumour that Qwitter will become completely useless either at the end of
this month or on the 14th of June is completely unfounded. It is true,
however, that without changes to the way Qwitter authenticates with
Twitter, you will not be able to read, write or delete direct messages
after June 14th. .
I'm not a developer of Qwitter, so cannot comment on plans to replace
the current xAuth system which Qwitter uses with the OAuth web flow, nor
would I encourage an endless torrent of messages on this topic asking
what is to be done about this problem. The developers are members of
this list and, I'm sure, will update everybody when something has been
worked out or in the unfortunate case that the problem cannot be worked
around. I would also suggest that you follow the official Qwitter
Client account on Twitter (), as well as the
account of Christopher Toth (the lead developer) at
to stay up-to-date with Qwitter
development news.

>> Can someone please inform me, and everyone else on this list, exactly

>> Thanks in advance for any replies to all these questions.
>> Bye for now, and happy tweeting!
