Victor,
This has nothing to do with the price of bread. LOL IF your tweets aren't protected, there is nothing that needs to be accepted; people can follow you at will, and this has no bearing on what client you use.
The entire point of this thread had to do with accepting follow requests when your tweets are protected. And no client will let you do that, because Twitter doesn't have this functionality as part of their API.
